About the Author

Michael T. Sheaff is a Consultant Histocytopathologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and has been the lead clinician for cytology for over 10 years. He is also an honorary Professor in Diagnostic Pathology with Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. In addition to reporting the general gynecological and non-gynecological cytology work he has developed specialist interests in the fields of skin, colposcopy, renal and thoracic pathology (the latter including a particular interest in mesothelioma).

Naveena Singh is a Consultant Histo- and Cytopathologist at Barts Health NHS Trust with specialist interests in gynecological histopathology and cytology. In addition to routine cytology, gynecological and non-gynecological, she is one of a team of consultants who offer a rapid diagnostic service for symptomatic and screen-detected breast lesions at 'one-stop' clinics.

Exelente y recomendado, muestra la verdadera evolución del hombre hasta la "inmortalidad" en este planeta, estoy muy sintonizado con estas canalizaciones y en mi opinión son muy ajustadas a la realidad.

Good Commenatry

I purchased this book to use in my daily Bible studies, and so far I have read through about one-half of the Acts commentary. Each of the three books covered, Acts, Romans, and 1 Corinthians, has commentary from a different writer. So I'm not sure how the other two will compare with Acts. The commentator has brought out some interesting points,and has balanced historical information with life application very well.

I have commentaries and Bible study books by other authors, and having bought the Broadman commentary on Matthew and Mark a few years ago I wanted to explore another in the series, and I have not been disappointed. I like reading the perspectives of writers from a different period, and this book was published around 1970, which is when most of the Broadman commentaries were published, I believe.

Based on what I have read so far, I give the book 5 stars, and recommend it to anyone wanting a conservative approach to studying God's Word.

The book is easy to read and understand. Very thorough in its explanation of the culture and times during which the Books were written. Does not shy away from controversy. Does mention some opposing or critical views.

A Quick Read With Just A Little Spice

I download this as a free book offering many months ago and finally had a chance to read it. I found it to be a quick read that never got too heavy. The characters are fun but I did not find myself developing an attachment to the like I do with many of the other books I have red recently. All in all, not a bad read, with a little spice thrown in for good measure.

A book that is technically sound while still providing practical advise on complying with the code in real world situations. The Author has filled the much needed practical application tool to assure Code Compliance in everyday situations.

This book is highly recommended for Engineers, Designers, Fabricators and Inspectors. It provides real application to the ASME Code for both Engineers and Non-Engineers alike. The book is a great companion to ASME B31.3 Code and should be viewed as such. It is a welcome addition to our Technical Library and will be used for many years to come.

Charles Becht provides an organized and detailed insight into the requirements of Process Piping design and engineering.
ASME B31.3 contains, in my opinion, the most convoluted and complex set of rules ever developed.

Dr. Becht clears up the confusion in a well written tome.

The book is timely, well organized and I found it very easy to use.

I read though the info in about 30 minutes, and when I got to the end thought, "And that's it?" I felt cheated! (In comparison, later bought David Sparks' iBook "Markdown, A MacSparky Field Guide" and got MORE than my money's worth!)

Good resource for new users of markdown

Markdown is a language that anyone can make good use of if you write material that has to be formatted in any of a number of ways, but without the downside of using a word processor (which is likely to mess up your material) or writing detailed code (like HTML or whatever you'd have to do to make a PDF file).

It was invented nearly ten years ago by John Bruber and Aaron Swartz. Gruber called Markdown "A text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML)." but it also converts to PDF and other formats.

Instant Markdown is a book by Packt Publishing that gives a complete and concise tutorial and overview of the language. The book is brief but complete (Markdown is not that complex). It provides information on how to install it, gives all the details there are on how to use it, and provides a few pointers and references to useful resources.

Markdown is easily used form the command line on any system (if you have the right stuff installed) but is even easier to use on a Mac if you install something like "Marked." In this case you use a text editor and Marked. As you write a .txt file and update (save) it, Marked shows you the results as it will appear on a web page or PDF file (more or less) and optionally shows the raw HTML code, which you can then copy and past. Markdown is used in several existing platforms and there are on line sites where you can put your markdown and get back formatted text. Those on line sites and the blogging platforms, etc., that use markdown language are described in the book. If you are going to mess with markdown, this is a good guide.
